Stock sizes Clip Nuts with High Strength Nuts
Our stock clips feature the ability to adapt to panel materials
such as metal, plastic and other materials. These clips have
a self centering tab which holds the clip in place during
assembly and disassembly.
Clips
Clips provide a self aligning feature through the use of a
spring tab. The minimum panel hole diameter (H), as specified
in the table, is required for proper installation.
Nuts
All nuts are self locking per MIL-N-25027 with dry film lubricant
except part number S10725-281 which is a free running nut
without lubricant. Thread sizes are specifried in the part
tables. Maximum torque values should not be exceeded.
Panel Thickness
The panel thickness is specified as a range for each part.
Example: For part number S08125-250 the clip can receive a
panel from 0.020" (0.51mm) thick to 0.125" (3.18mm) thick.
Hole Position
The center of the hole dimension is the maximum distance that
the center of the hole can be from the edge of the panel.
The hole can be placed closer to the edge, however the clip
will protrude.
Material
Clip and Nut made from High Carbon Steel - heat treated to
provide optimum performance.
Finish
Clip and Nut plated with Cadimum or Zinc with supplemental
chromate treatment.
